Cesarean Delivery in Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation Dependent COVID-19 Parturients: A Case Report

چکیده
Obstetric patients have risk factors for severe COVID-19 disease, including obesity, hypertension, and diabetes [1]. Pregnant are more likely to be hospitalized, admitted the intensive care unit (ICU), experience acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), require invasive ventilation extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) [1,2]. The use of ECMO in pregnant with COVID-19-associated failure offered an option managing disease-data optimize timing method delivery while on is limited.

Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for Legionnaires disease: a case report.
A case of Legionella pneumonia, severe adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and multiple organ failure is described in a patient who required extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) prior to transfer to a hospital with ECMO facilities. She eventually made a good recovery, highlighting the potential benefits of ECMO in patients with severe and refractory ARDS.
متن کاملAnesthetic experience using extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for cesarean section in the patient with peripartum cardiomyopathy: a case report
Peripartum cardiomyopathy is a rare form of cardiomyopathy that is associated with significant mortality. It can cause a cardiac arrest during cesarean section even though the patient does not have any previous symptom and sign. The most important thing of anesthesia in this patient is an optimization of hemodynamic and respiratory status. We report the successful general anesthesia using of ex...
متن کاملMembrane Oxygenation: A Case Report
Amphotericin B treatment during extracorporeal membrane oxygenation is at times necessary for the treatment of secondary fungemia or, less commonly, to treat a primary fungal infection. The impact of the extracorporeal circuit on the pharmacokinetics of amphotericin B have not been described in vivo. This case report describes the pharmacokinetics of amphotericin B in a patient receiving extrac...
